We spent quite a long time to look for a villa in the Caribbean, giving us perfect privacy, located on a sandy beach suitable for swimming with a coral reef out as wave-breaker, having a scuba diving base close by and be within walking distance of a small town with fine restaurants. We found it in Villa Iwana in Saint Francois, and from the first moment I felt this is a villa sprung right out of a painting. All the services, arrangements and speedy answering any question left nothing to wish for.

From the very fist contact with property manager Manuel, I knew this was going to be a great stay. He was responsive, accommodating, and very professional. Gave me insight as to what to do, what to expect of the area and the island, and some pointers on where to eat and visit.
The villa was perfect for 2 families with small kids, we felt safe in our private yard, and although the villa features a beach and a pool, we never worried about the kids running out as there are metal gates which you can close to have them run around inside with minimal supervision. Location was incredible, views stunning, as we watched the beach, the pool, and a beautiful yard every morning for breakfast. The property sits adjacent to one of the best beaches on the island (Raisins Claire Beach), and we could walk over, take a kayak for a short swim across the shallow canal,walk across the canal to the beach. We also had our own, "private like" beach which was also phenomenal, but was a little more rocky then the one next door. The property manager Sophie greeted us, was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She offered and made herself always available for assistance to us in any way, giving us pointers where to go for local spots, what to do and see, and what to expect throughout the week (as the island goes through staggered power outages and water shut offs during the week in different areas to conserve power and water). I recommend this to all who want to stay in Guadeloupe |

This is the best oceanfront villa we have ever rented. It has a big pool, is on the ocean and has an excellent kitchen. We loved the indoor/outdoor living and the layout of the house. Having everything on one floor (no steps) made it easy to watch ousee more

Having everything on one floor (no steps) made it easy to watch our small children. We shared the villa with another family and it was perfect with the ensuite bathrooms. We loved the location near the town but the landscaping made it a private space. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit the area. Also the service of the rental company was very good and the house was clean and had everything we needed.
